同じ環境にインストールするのであれば、Dreamweaverインストール時に古いサイトの定義が自動的に読み込まれ、引き続き新しいバージョンで作業が行えるはずです。
しかし、今回のようにバージョンの間隔が開いている場合は、インストール時の読み込みが行われない場合も考えられます。そのような場合に備え、あらかじめ古いサイトの定義情報を書き出しておけ ば、その書き出したファイルを使って新しいバージョンに設定を読み込むことが可能です。
まずは以下のサイトに記載されている手順を参考にサイトの定義情報の書き出しを行い、そのうえで新しいバージョンのインストールを行ってみてください。
